Kaitlyn is now a production editor at Simon & Schuster Children's Books, as well as a freelance copyeditor and proofreader for Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, Astra House, and Dream Jar Publishing. In addition, they are an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Publishing program at Pace University, teaching copyediting and proofreading.

Kaitlyn’s debut novel, Project Juni, a young adult novel in verse, will be published by Lerner/Carolrhoda Lab on March 2, 2027. Her poetry and short stories have been published in Bodega Magazine, Cosmonauts Avenue, petrichor, and Black Fox Literary Magazine. She is represented by Eric Smith at Neighborhood Literary.
